When starting dryer from a complete shutdown condition you will advance to a Prestart Conditions Screen after latching the MCR. In this screen you will be required to verify a few prestart requirements in order to advance on to manually starting the dryer. You do not return to this screen if the dryer is just turned off by stopping the dryer devices individually. This method keeps the MCR latched in which is stating that the pre-start conditions have not changed.

You will be asked to verify that the (Burner Cover is Removed) Will be asked if you want the Dryer Master to resume to automatic as soon as DM is ready to do so. (By selecting OFF you will then need to put DM into automatic when ready to do so by manually selecting DM from the Run Screen. Next you will be asked to verify the Plenum Temp Setpoint and the Discharge Rate Setpoint or make changes. To enter desired values, press the White Rectangular Box and enter values from the dropdown keypad.

You can then choose to Enable Gas Train in the Pre-Start Conditions or wait until you are ready to Start the Burner in the Manual Start Screen. If Gas Train is Enabled then you are Directed to then go out to dryer and Activate the Manual Maxon Valve on the Gas Train.

Once the Pre -Start conditions have been completed successfully then the Manual Start Screen Button will aluminate to allow you to advance to the Manual Start Up Screen. NOTE: Also on this screen is a button to reset the daily bushels Dried. When this is reset then the bushels dried to current will accumulate into the Seasonal Total and the bushels dried daily will start new total. The bushels dried History is found under the History Icon in the Setting Screen. Failure to reset this on start up will result in the daily total being incorrect as it will also include total bushels dried since last reset.

Pre-Start Auto Screen

When Automatic Matic Startup is selected from the Platinum+ (Home) Screen then the controller will advance to a Pre-Start Auto Screen where certain prestart conditions are required to be met. The same conditions and details apply here as in the Prestart Manual Screen except that the Gas Train and Maxon MUST be activated from this screen and there is the addition of a Plenum Warm Time. This time can be entered by selecting the White Rectangular window and entering in a time using the dropdown keypad. NOTE: Same requirement of the Daily bushels dried reset applies on this screen as well.

Once all conditions have be met then the (Start) button will aluminate which then will begin the startup of all devices automatically in proper sequence. This button also advances you to the Run Screen where you can observe the devices starting.
