To calibrate the Input Sensor Press the Blue button in the mid lower part of the calibrations screen. This is usually done out at the dryer using the HMI Screen at the dryer. By pressing on the run screen in the area of the Input Sensor display you will advance to the Input Sensor Calibration Screen. Pressing the Blue button will begin a time sequence in which you should collect a sample of wet grain at a wet grain sampler tube descending down sidewall of dryer or at any convenient source of wet grain that closely aligns itself to the grain currently entering the dryer.

Take multiple samples over the time period of 1 minute. Stir these sample in a collector and then Bench test the sample for a moisture reading. Then press the white rectangular box on the Input Sensor Calibration Screen for a drop-down keypad and enter the Tester value. Then Confirm Calibration on the screen with the rectangular Confirm Button located it the bottom of the screen. The sample calibration is normally completed on the PC located in the grain room near the tester. You can cancel calibration at any time by pressing the Cancel Calibration Button also located at the bottom of the screen.

The arrow in the upper right of the screen can return to the Run Screen at any time and then from the Run Screen you can return to finish the calibration process by pressing the Input Sensor area again on the run Screen.

Once you have confirmed the calibration you will need to use the same arrow to return to run screen.

It is recommended when testing a sample of grain to practice the following guidelines:

If sample is within ½% moisture of actual moisture displayed from sensor then make no calibration.

If sample is ½% to 1% moisture different than displayed from sensor then re-stir the sample in the bucket and test again and then make adjustment

If sample is greater than 1% difference than displayed from sensor then discard the sample and repeat sample collection again at the dryer.
